Beth
We have all been through the ups and downs of the past year. We have found joy in the little things and felt heartbreak for the ones suffering around the world during a global pandemic. Recently, events and weddings have changed becoming even more intimate and special and I am reminded of how grateful I am to be a part of my clients’ life-changing moments.
Today I wanted to share Beth’s story. Beth and I were a year apart at Unionville High School and when she walked into my studio she lit up the whole room. She exudes kindness and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. When she arrived she gave me an idea of the silhouette she was looking for and we hit the ground running. Then the pandemic hit, and the whole world came to a screeching halt. Venues were canceled, events were postponed, and everyone planning or involved in the events space was left with their heads spinning in disappointment. Especially brides and the mothers of.
A year later and with a new appreciation for what it means to smile with another person Beth and I got back to work. I have to admit I was slightly intimidated by the full skirt fantasy that Beth had in her mind. However, after multiple fittings and final fabrication, we created the perfect modern princess gown made of silk wool and hand pleated cotton mesh.
Over the two years we worked together I was pushed out of my comfort zone and into new depths of gratitude. I have come out the other side even more grateful for the friends and relationships I build in the process of designing for this incredible community.
Remember, joy is the new currency.
”David Ferron is one of Unionville's hidden treasures. He is the owner, chief designer, and creative genius behind David Ferron Studio located in the heart of Unionville, Pennsylvania.
David creates custom and everyday pieces ranging from casual wear to one-of-a-kind couture - with each and every piece designed to make you feel the best version of yourself. From the moment I walked into David's studio, I knew I was in good hands and before I knew it, he had brought all of my bridal dreams to life in just a few black and white sketches.
Despite the uncertainty of weddings in the age of COVID and constantly changing timelines, David made the design process so much fun and collaborative! I am so thankful that I decided to pick up the phone and call him - I am blessed to call him a friend! If you have a special event coming up or just want to feel special, please consider visiting David at his studio or giving him a call!!” -Beth
