HARDY

I was anything but surprised when my friend Hardy asked me to make him a custom bathing suit. Back when we were both living in Brooklyn we would spend the day at the Far Rockaway beach. Lana Del Rey echoed in his beach bungalow two blocks from the shore. I remember the perfectly sun-kissed salmon suit he used to wear.

More recently Hardy was in a car accident that destroyed his favorite swimsuit, so, we made him a new one. This pale blue cotton canvas suit is a take on 1970s safari shorts. The shorts are lined in a breathable mesh and will fade with wear, just like the shorts he loved back in Brooklyn.
