The Forgotten Customers

Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom

Why is it that when women get to a certain age, it seems like stores completely forget about them? It's as if stores expect every woman over the age of 50 to forget their style and start wearing sad sacks of lace. I know from the women in my life that after the kids are out of the house is when they really start to have fun! That's why in my studio, I haven't forgotten about these women. I have built my whole business around them.

For too long, designers have just catered to the youth in the room and excluded the women who raised them. Over the past few decades, companies have built stores dedicated to the bride and groom, the bridesmaids, and the wedding party, while leaving the mothers of the bride and groom scratching their heads, wondering where all the dresses are for them.

I cannot tell you how many times I have had a customer come into my studio exhausted by searching for a gown for their child’s upcoming wedding. They have been far and wide, online and in-store, searching for the perfect dress to have the first dance or walk down the aisle with their pride and joy. These customers have combed through racks of sad beaded frocks in washed-out colors with little or no personal style. I have dedicated the last four years to this customer.

It is time for the mother to get the gown that feels like the wonderful life she has created for her and her family. A life filled with personality, expression, sex appeal, comfort, and grace. A gown to be in the captured photographs hung on the living room walls and framed on the bedside tables for years to come. Let's make this one special.

In my studio, I work one-on-one with my clients to create a design that captures the essence of my client. I design garments that fit the wearer perfectly and create proportions that flatter each of their bodies. Through one-on-one consultations and fittings, I create a warm and comfortable environment where we can discuss everything from textiles to the latest wedding drama. The result is a garment bursting with personality, just like the wonderful woman it is designed for.

If you are tired of being sold dresses that you don't even like by salespeople you will never see again let's make an appointment to challenge every idea society has for the mother of the bride or mother of the groom's dress. I can only imagine what we will come up with together!

XOXO
