MASK GOAL SURPASSED IN ONE HOUR!

Wow,

In an astonishing wave of support, you have helped me absolutely crush my fundraising goal for Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children.  With your generous donations, my goal of raising $1500 was reached yesterday in one hour.

The GoFundMe campaign currently stands at $2,735 and is still growing!

With those funds, I am able to order approximately 273 yards of mask material to donate to the Nemours COVID-19 Donation Team.  That’s enough fabric to make approximately 5,460 antibacterial face masks for patients and their families to wear as they return home from the hospital.  While these are not medical grade surgical masks they will provide protection and reduce transmission of COVID-19.

After speaking with the donation team today I have decided to keep the campaign open through the weekend and end it on Monday.  Please share it over the weekend with your friends and family before I place the fabric order first thing on Monday morning!

Thank you for coming together and helping me reach the goal.  What an incredible victory.  I have been thinking a lot about small victories these days.  Maybe it’s getting up before 9 am or actually putting my laundry away but today we can celebrate a truly huge victory.
