EVENT: GOLDEN HOUR
WHAT:
Two Kennett Square-based creators -- fashion designer David Ferron and jewelry designer Alexis Kletjian -- have joined forces to host an exclusive styling event, featuring expert advice on necklines, hemlines and everything in between.
Guests will bring their own garments or jewelry for on-site personal styling and consultations on how pieces may be modified to better fit them; a favorite dress from years ago can be remade and modernized, or a family heirloom ring can be re-imagined into a necklace or jeweled bangle.
Food catered by nearby Catherine’s Restaurant will be provided, as well as two new wines from Chadds Ford Winery. Every RSVP attendee will leave with a gift bag packed with goodies.
WHO:
David Ferron and Alexis Kletjian are two designers with complementing brands, one focused on garments and the other on jewelry. They not only run their own shops in a similar way, emphasizing a customized experience for clients, but they also stress the details when designing. They share a philosophy of investing in timeless pieces and guide clients on the jewelry and garments that will bring their wardrobe into harmony.
WHY:
Ferron and Kletjian want to give clients the opportunity to place custom orders on repurposed garments and jewelry ahead of the holiday rush, and also to address style questions as the season's change.
